| Sometimes it’s the small things that make the most significant change. By cleaning off your countertops (80% should be empty, 20% for lifestyle accessories like a cooking book, coffee/tea pot with mugs/wine glasses etc.), you will showcase how much space your kitchen really has. By coordinating the colours in your accessories, you will add harmony. |

Decorating A Sunroom
August 09, 2010 (posted by Jennifer Campbell, Home Staging Calgary)
| To give these cubbords a fresh, new look, we painted them with CIL’s French Cream – 25YY 83/103. The doors and trim were also coated in the same colour. Kilz’s Oil-based White helped to get rid of smoking stains from the previous owner. For the walls we decided to use a CIL’s Venetian Glass – 30GY 72/196. It’s amazing what paint can do to transform a room.
A new countertop, stainless steel sink and faucet were also installed as well as new backsplash to modernize the space (see blog post “Tiling Project Update”). These changes to the kitchenette complimented the new bamboo styled shades, furniture, bamboo rug and accessories. The end tables were originally from the sunroom and the arts & crafts lamp was found at an antique show. |

Decorating A Sunroom
July 19, 2010 (posted by Jennifer Campbell, Home Staging Calgary)
| Our client here longed for a space they could call their own. A retreat where they could relax at the end of a hard days work. Originally this sunroom was taken over by the whole family, including the dogs. A fresh coat of paint for the ceiling (Kilz’s Oil-based White), walls (CIL’s Venetian Glass – 30GY 72/196), doors and trim (CIL’s French Cream – 25YY 83/103) allowed the room to take in a new mood. |

We then installed new bamboo styled shades, added new furniture, a bamboo rug and accessories. The end tables were originally from the sunroom and the arts & crafts lamp was found at an antique show. This sunroom is now inviting and relaxing.
