Before: Reception area before artwork, greenery and accessories were added.

We don’t always get requests for home staging, sometimes we get contacted by clients who aren’t selling their homes. For this client in particular, they weren’t selling their home but they specialized in selling their clients’ homes. This new Century 21 office in northeast Calgary was looking for a little umph in their office and was looking for a home stager to help. StrikingGlass was kind enough to provide artwork in this main lobby.

Before: It’s difficult for potential buyers to envision a den/office with no furniture.

In an office, you want the space to feel comfortable and inviting. If the desk in your office doesn’t seem to flow the way you’d like – try angling it for some interest. Don’t forget to add something to draw your eye to the room’s feature like a window or tall ceiling.

After: The desk and chairs show a function in this office and the artwork draws your eye to the window on a beautiful sunny day.

Before: It’s difficult for potential buyers to envision a master bedroom with no furniture.

When staging bedrooms, you want the bed to look as cozy as possible. To achieve this, make sure you have plenty of different sized cushy pillows and a soft comforter. Make sure there is ample lighting beside the bed for reading.

Before: Although these counters were de-cluttered, they needed some lifestyle elements.

Although tough to keep clean for living, white is the colour to use for linens when staging a bathroom. It helps to create that spa-like feeling buyers desire. To tie in the master bathroom with the master bedroom, hints of green and blue were added in the soaps and greenery.
