Three-quarters of those surveyed recommended home staging, claiming that the return on this investment can be as high as 196%! That’s impressive at any time, but in an economic slump, that’s a home-run.   Home staging prepares a home for sale in order to sell it quickly and get top dollar.

To get a sense of the power of this tool, here’s what I recommend. Grab a jacket and your keys and leave home. Head straight out the front door, take a hike.
 
When you get to the sidewalk, stop. Close your eyes then turn around (do this slowly to avoid falling over.) Imagine that you’ve never seen this house before. Open your eyes and behold. This is how potential buyers see your home.
