It brings up some great points on why you should/should not include open shelves in your home’s design. Coming from a home stager’s perspective, they’re great to have – if the homeowner is willing/able to keep them organized and tidy. Vanant homes are easy to maintain, however a family with young children may struggle to keep show ready.
