Monochromatic Colour Schemes

Monochromatic Colour Scheme

The monochromatic colour scheme uses only one hue with diverse tints, shades, tones and textures.

It can be quite challenging to decide on which colours will work well together. To make things easier, there are scientific colour combinations that will work together to create contrast and/or harmony.

Any colours directy opposite of each other on the
colour wheel are compliments of each other.

It can be quite challenging to decide on which colours will work well together. To make things easier, there are scientific colour combinations that will work together to create contrast and/or harmony.

The complimentary colour schemes are directly across from each other on the colour wheel. As complimentary colours oppose each other, it is important to not split them exactly fifty-fifty. Feel free to use the hue’s tints and shades but don’t combine the two or this combination will clash.

Bad Curb Appeal Calgary

To add curb appeal, this homeowner could clean their siding, remove the blocks of wood on the pillars, remove the bird's nest from the pillars and touch up the paint on the downspout.

Curb appeal is the most important consideration when it comes to home improvement for selling your home. Take plenty of time and effort to boost first impressions. Curb appeal doesn’t only refer to your front yard, it includes your driveway, sidewalk, side yard and backyard.

To freshen your yard, ensure everything is repair free! Remove all weeds and dead plants, trim all hedges and large bushes or trees. For more complex tasks, contact a local specialist.
