It still isn’t too late to give your curb appeal a makeover. Beginning next week (according to the Weather Network) it’s supposed to get warmer and sunnier. For a dramatic change, paint your front door. What are the hot colours stagers use for doors? Dark red, grey/brown and black.

(Due to variations in monitors and printers, contact your local paint store for accurate samples).

Spider Season

Spider in Bathtub

It's important to keep these creepy critters out of your home, especially when selling

It’s that time of year when all of our creepy critters decide to come inside and warm up. As unpleasant as it is kill these insects such as spiders, ants etc. when living in our homes, it can kill the sale of your home if a potential buyer gets a friendly greeting from Charlotte.

Just imagine: you’re looking for your dream home and you’ve finally come across one that meets all of your needs, but, you find a spider in the master bathroom. Most likely this is a rare occasion and you’ll never see him again, but, what if he isn’t the only one. What if there are more hiding under the furniture or in a space you can’t see. What if there is a crack somewhere in the house that more spiders can get in? If that’s the case, this house may have other hidden issues that need repairs.

You may find this reasoning to be extreme but some people may come to this conclusion. Something as small as a spider can turn out to ruin your sale, so keep an eye out for these pests and if you do have a problem, contact
a specialist to remove them permanently.
