The complimentary colour schemes are directly across from each other on the colour wheel. As complimentary colours oppose each other, it is important to not split them exactly fifty-fifty. Feel free to use the hue’s tints and shades but don’t combine the two or this combination will clash.

I was studying something else about this on another blog. Interesting. Your position on it is diametrically contradicted to what I read in the first place. I am still contemplating over the various points of view, but I’m tipped heavily toward yours. And irrespective, that’s what is so good about modern democracy and the marketplace of ideas on-line.
