Guest Bedroom Re-design

Before Re-designed Bedroom Calgary

Before: Bedroom before re-design.

Calgary is often the place to stop for family and friend guests before they head out to the mountains to ski. If you find yourself hosting guests often, you may want to re-design your guest bedroom. As travel can be very tiring, you want the room to be as cozy as possible. Make sure you have plenty of different sized cushy pillows and a soft comforter. For extra warmth, add another comforter or blanket folded up at the foot of the bed.

After: A new colour on the walls, an abundance of pillows and a new plush comforter make this bonus room the perfect cozy space guests can relax in.

Seasonal Staging

Seasonal Staging

This pinecone and cranberry arrangement in the front entry is a great decor addition to a home for sale.

Seasonal staging during Christmas can be a tough decision to make because it’s such a personal time for families. However, it’s important to remember, the less personal your home is, the easier it will be to sell.

This doesn’t mean don’t put out any decorations, just stick with the “neutral” ones. Not to confuse this with neutral colours, just decor everyone can appreciate. Try to avoid any decorations with any of your family’s names’ or photos’. It’s not a bad idea to pre-pack any decorations that have special meaning as accidents can happen during showings. As soon as Christmas is over, transform your home back to it’s show-state.
