How-to Make Your Bathroom Feel Like A Spa

Spa-like Bathroom

These elements can help make any bathroom feel like a spa.

Step one to making your bathroom feel like a spa is to de-clutter. Clear off all of your countertops. Go through your medicine cabinet and drawers and clear out anything not being used, especially expired medicine. Organize everything left into baskets.

Add some plants. Greenery always makes a room feel fresher.

Fold your towels neatly into thirds so the ends don’t show and hang them at even levels on your towel rack. For an added touch, layer a colourful hand towel that coordinates well in your bathroom with a neutral larger towel (beige, white or grey). To roll hand towels, fold into thirds (so the ends don’t show) and roll as tightly as possible

Flooring Counts

Neutral colours (on the left hand side of this picture) are always your best bet when purchasing carpet for selling your home.

A very simple, yet important part of selling your home is to make sure you show your potential buyers that you have taken care of your home. Well cared for flooring shows you care about maintaining your home.

Take the time to vacuum often and consider a professional steam clean if necessary. If your carpet is damaged beyond repair, new flooring is good investment you should seriously look into. Buyers will chip away at their offers to compensate for the repairs and often, the amount they estimate to complete the repairs is more than the actually costs to replace. When purchasing carpet, you don’t need to get the most expensive variety but always select a higher grade underlay, this will make the carpet look and feel it’s best.
