The living room is an important room to stage. Buyers will spend most of their time here and you only have a few seconds to make a positive, lasting impression. Make sure your living room’s focal point is highlighted. Some examples of focal points you may use in a living room are magnificent views, architectural features (fireplace, high ceilings or ceiling beams) and furniture (a large, comfy couch).

After: This living room is now bright, fresh and has a spark of colour. The fireplace is lit to add some coziness to the room.

Add some plants, pillows and a throw blanket to keep the room fresh and add sparks of colour.
