| On the eleventh day of Christmas, my home stager placed for me… Eleven pieces of fruit in a bowl. |
|
Whether real fruit or fake, home staging with fruit in a bowl can add a bit of colour and life to your staged room. I get my faux fruit from Michaels (remember your 50% off coupon or download the mobile app to save too). The important tip is to make it feel natural, like it belongs in the space that’s used by real people. Otherwise it could stand out to potential buyers in a negative, “they’re trying too hard”, kind of way. In this Charleswood dining room I staged, I used faux pears. But it could just as easily have been fresh oranges, lemons, limes or apples in a kitchen. Used properly, home staging with fruit can help a potential buyer imagine being in that space. How about an orange after your meal while you chat with friends and family in this happy space? Tune in tomorrow for the twelfth day. In the meantime, I invite you to contact Jen at Set Your Stage for staging advice and services in Calgary customized to suit your needs. |
